Abstract:
Computers and information technology find application in the field of quality and reliability assurance of machines.They are used for various tasks ranging from solving specific problems with the use of a single computer to creating vast intranet networks of large companies.The paper describes the use of a computer as a universal diagnostic device which can replace expansive oscilloscopes used so far and makes it easier to take measurements as wel as analyse and present the results.It has been described how a personal computer can be adapted for making these measurements.The paper presents also the results of a dynamic diagnosis of an alernator based on momentary values of the load profile.
